About this campaign

We got Axl on Halloween 2020. He has been a great dog and a loving little guy for as long has we have had him. He lives with my mom currently, keeping her company ever since my dad died.

Axl just got diagnosed with diabetes. He also has cataracts and will be blind within this next year. It’s very hard to hear this information as he is what keeps my mom company and happy and protected. He goes to the Russell veterinary hospital.

His favorite game is to rip the eyes of stuffed toys. He likes to play with the cats and he loves to “nuggle” with my mom on the couch and in bed. He loves to watch out the window at passing trucks and he loves to bark at them. He loves going outside and sniffing the koi pond and then rolling in the grass.

Ever since my dad died, my mom has been on an income of one. She will struggle with the start of the diabetes diagnosis as she has to go to the vet almost every other week on top of buying the insulin and needles.
