Axl currently lives with me and my also elderly dog, Booker. We rent an apartment on the third floor where we get lots of sun every day for both boys to sunbathe.

Axl currently has a UTI and has become blocked despite treatment. VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital is currently removing the blockage, but since it's his second time being blocked the vets are concerned.

As soon as I he headbutted my chin, I couldn't let him go. So for the last 16 years he's been my constant companion, always knowing when I need him. He purrs on my chest when I am sick, he brought his sick friend to my doorstep knowing that I'd take care of him. He is such a sweet, gentle boy with the sweetest meow, and a mischievous side that reminds me of a Sour Patch Kid.

I lost my job in March and am still climbing out of a financial hole. Now my sweet cat needs urgent care I can’t afford alone. He’s my family, my comfort, and my heart. Getting him healthy again would mean relief, and many more years together.
