About this campaign
Ayala began developing a mass of lumps following weaning her second litter of pups a bit over a year ago. The lump has grown considerably and now seems to be spreading. Our vet agrees with us that it needs to be dealt with soon. Unfortunately, we are on social security an cannot afford surgery and care. Especially, if it has metastasis.
Ayala and her sister came to us as rescues a little over four years ago. They have both been wonderful, snuggly additions to our family. Of course, we want Ayala to get the needed surgery and medical care, as we cannot imagine our lives without this lovely lady. Ayala has been my constant companion and a great joy in this time of pandemic isolation.
Ayala is my sewing companion. Whenever I am in my sewing room working on quilts she is right there with me. When I take my short breaks, she likes to be in my lap for loves, snuggles, and extra snuggles and tummy rubs.. When I am watching TV she curls up in my lap and when I am in bed, she is next to me.
Ayala's need for medical carebis urgent. Due to our financial tightness, it has been put off way too long. Her vet is Valley Veterinary Clinic in Rainier, Oregon. They are aware of her situation and our financial limitations and recommended that we try Waggle as a way to raise the financial support.
We are seniors on social security. We struggle each month to meet our basic needs. It would be nearly impossible for us to scrape together the money needed for Ayala's care on our own. We would greatly appreciate any possible assistance.
