About this campaign
Azaria is a rescue. My oldest sister rescued her from a couple who told her that if the kittens don't go, they will end up in the river. Luckily enough, the lady lied and her siblings did find good homes. She's been with me for nearly 15 years and I wouldn't have traded any of those years for anything. She is apart of me as much as I am to her.
She has a special place at the end of my bed wear she sleeps. Loving to be comfortable, she has a few blankets and a cat bed to prop her up and keep her warm. She gets along with everyone in the house and tolerates the dogs like normal. Being the oldest animal, she gets away with some things more then she did as a kitten.
Azaria has a lot of lovely, little quirks. One of them that I found endearing but all around annoying is she can't stand the water she drinks for too long and drags the bowl towards my bed, making me step in it at night sometimes. Another of her little ticks that I adore is that when she wants to be petted, she will reach her paw towards you and kinda grab on, almost saying hey!
Azaria is in need of a historectomy and removal of mammary tumors caused by never having a litter before as well as never getting spayed. They are also going to test the tumors to see if they are cancerous or not. She will be treated at Indian Hills Animal Clinic in my hometown by Jenna Hill and the staff there.
I can't apply for jobs because of my medical condition. In March of '15, I was diagnosed with kidney failure caused by a autoimmune disease. My doctors don't want me to work during the pandemic, even after my transplant in 2016. After 15 years, I just want her happy and well
