Baby Dean is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Elizabethtown, KY, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

I rescued BabyDeanBeans from a shelter in Lexington, KY in November 2021. At the time he was 4 months old, and I was sold the moment he head butted my hand and kissed my finger. My partner and I have taken him everywhere with us. He has been through both of my pregnancies, and loves our son.

BabyDean has not been able to urinate and is in need of emergency medical service as we suspect he has a blockage. I
spoke to Derby City Vet who works from Shelbyville as a mobile clinic and they said they unfortunately don’t do house visits for medical emergencies. They were the only clinic who had a (very kind, and helpful) human answer the phone. She referred me to place an ad here.

BabyDean is wonderful with children and has been a loving addition to our home through both of my pregnancies. He’s also my emotional support animal. I’ve had him for almost 3 years now and he has helped me heal my PTSD.

We don’t have an emergency fund and just recently have been able to get a place to live. We actually just started paying rent and still owe deposit plus another months rent. I’m trying to get some funds together to pay for an emergency vet and save our cats life.
