About this campaign
We got Baby from a pet store 15 years ago. We had just recently lost a pet and after some healing we decided it was time to open our hearts again. After some playtime, we knew baby was the right dog for us. He was very friendly, excited, and sweet. We named him baby because he enjoyed being swaddled .
Baby lives with his dog wife Kimberly, and two kids Link and Twist. All four of them get along and enjoy living at an empty nest home. My brother and i moved out a while ago but my parents enjoy their company all the same. Baby is the most laidback of all the dogs, and prefers to lay back and relax, much like any other older dad. He enjoys watching cars and people go by while he stays near the AC.
Unfortunately taking care of four dogs had taken a financial toll on our family. As the dogs get older their medical bills get larger. My parents are very attached to the dogs and since my brother and I moved out, they have become their kids.
Baby has multiple tumors, pancreatitis, periodontal disease, among other non life threatening medical issues and currently he does not eat or get up much. Dr. Otto at VCA Edgebrook animal Hospital is currently treating him. We’ve been informed that it is possibly to treat him and have him continue staying with us.
Baby is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He just wants to be your companion. He never tries ti steal your food, beg, or require any treats. Your mere presence is enough to satisfy him and that makes him truly special. He has been our best friend for over 15 years and he’s been an angel the entire time.. he won’t even hurt a squeaky toy, he prefers to boop it with his nose.
