Baby Girl is a 7-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier in Allentown, PA who needs $2,000 for a torn ACL repair and tumor biopsy/removal.

Baby Girl is the sweetest little cuddle bug ever. She's 7 years old but has the playfulness of a puppy. She loves to cuddle and at 60 lbs thinks she's a lap dog loving to be held like a baby. When we come home she greets us at the door with a smile and a hug. She loves her toys more than anything. Especially if they squeak. She especially loves to play tug of war with her rope toys. She is very close to momma, but loves everyone in the family just the same. She is very special to us and it wouldn't be the same without her. She chose us 5 years ago when we went to the humane society looking to adopt. She was there looking very sad while her two puppies were in a cage a few doors down from her. Everyone was looking at her puppies wanting to adopt them but my heart kept going back to her. The people helping us told me I didn't want her, no one wanted her because she was used as a puppy mill. Her nipples were long and dragging which, to them, made her look ugly. She told me that she was going to be put to sleep because no one wanted her. I immediately asked her to take her out of her cage and allow us to walk around with her. So, she did. She was the sweetest, well behaved little angle that just stole our hearts right away. We sat in the grass with her outside and she laid with us, she was so excited. Other people walked by and she would get up and stare at them as if to say, "Stay away from my family" We automatically knew she was meant to be a part of our home and family. We immediately went inside and asked, "We're do we sign." She has been a blessing to our family ever since.
