Baby is a 6-year-old Labrador in Miami Gardens, FL, who needs $1,800 for Pyometra Surgery.

Baby and I bumped into each other 3 yrs ago out on the street and was pregnant at the time unbeknownst to me. She had her kids and all was good until a few days ago. She started exhibiting traits that are not normally hers. She has a daughter who is now 3 yrs old and would miss her terribly if she is not around anymore.

Baby is the mother to Pebbles and sister to Rocky and Cosi. She is a sweet fur baby who loves to eat and take walks. She is very sweet with all the other furkids she encounters. She loves laying in bed next to me and loves loves her treats. She is 60 lbs of dead weight when she wants to be. A more caring dog I could not have asked for in my life.

Baby is very cuddly. She always wants to be petted and lay on you. She loves to walk on a leash and hates harnesses and clothing. She is a people person but for dogs. Baby especially loves the older generation and is very careful in how she approaches and interacts with them. She barely barks except when she really does not like someone which is rare.

Baby had to come into another vet today as her vet was unavailable. She is currently at the animal hospital undergoing surgery for pyometra. Pyometra is an infection of the uterus. Her belly is distended a bit snd has discharge. Her CBC came back high for white blood cells. She was fine until a few days ago and then today she refused to eat when she is an EATER.

My financial situation is difficult as I am still recovering from the last dog emergency we had in 2021. Baby means the world to me as I found her pregnant and assisted her with delivery of 12 pups, one of which is still with her.
