About this campaign
On my 60th birthday, my long time friend Virginia gave me a puppy to love and care for. She was only 3 months old and I named her Baby. As a disabled senior I desperately needed an emotional support animal and Baby was it. We live in a senior low income apartment where she loves walks but it’s rather hard now due to her injury.
Baby loves all children. We have 8 grandchildren here in the Bay Area. She loves to meet new people and give kisses to all people that she meets. She is so good natured. All the staff at Walmart near our house just loves Baby. She loves car rides and sleeps with me every night. She is a big part of our family and we all love her.
Baby loves to play at dog parks. She has a dog that is her BBF name Peanut. She loves to play with Peanut and loves treats. When other dogs or cats come on the television, she hops on her rear legs and barks at the tv which we find very funny and laugh. Dogs give us unconditional love and Baby has this in abundance.
When I come home she is so excited to see me. She is my heart.
Not long ago Baby suffered an injury to her left rear knee. Took her to an animal hospital in Vacaville and then for a second opinion. Both vets agreed diagnosed with a medical patella luxation on left knee and is grade 11 lame. Orthopedic surgery required.
I’m a disabled senior on a fixed income. In debt consolidation and unable to get a loan for this. If Baby doesn’t get this surgery she can become crippled. She has given so many people happiness with her loving nature. She is on pain meds due to extreme pain. Help
