I adopted Babydoll when she was around 7 years old, she is 16 now. Her previous owner had a lot of dogs and the main owner (the wife of the man that I purchased and adopted Babydoll from) had past away from cancer. Babydoll’s name was actually babe (they named her after the pig), but I slowly called her Baby or Babydoll to not confuse others at the time since I called my husband babe

She’s had kidney issues for the past year. chronic kidney disease, is going blind in 1 eye, and we will eventually get her to an oncologist to check on possible cancer issues (vet said she has breast lumps that will need to be looked at). Unfortunately, we had to take her to the ER this morning because she’s refused to eat for 2 days. ER says 1 of her kidneys is not functioning

She’s super friendly to any human or animal. All of our kids were concerned as she gotten older but she has been active up until the past week. We have another small dog - miniature schnauzer that is her younger sister. She loves watching over her and tries her best to still play with her when she can

Our bills are really tight right now. Just moved to a bigger rental home because our college grad needed to come home. I’ve been paying all Babydoll’s bills out of pocket and she’s been taken care of very well. The bills and household bills keep continuing to pile up
