Badjur is a 10 year old Siberian Husky in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostic Labs & Lump Removal Surgery on Hind Leg.

BADJUR came into our life more than 10 years ago as 10-week old puppy and became our child's best friend and family companion. He loves running, playing and jumping in the backyard, barking at the neighbors' dogs behind the fences, enjoying his life. Currently, he became sad, laying on the floor, not understanding why he needs a cone around his neck that causes him to bump to everything.

He began to develop a bump on the top of his left hind leg. Initially, it seemed to be under control, but it had started growing rapidly. He started biting on it, pulling out clumps of hair, and creating bleeding spots (graphic to share). He has a skin infection on the right side of his back. He was seen by his vet at West Charleston Animal Hospital. He will need surgery or risk leg amputation.

BADJUR loves everyone he meets - kids, adults, the mailman, strangers, and the list can go on. If he notices that any of us is sad, he comes and sits next to us, providing comfort. He is funny and always ready for something mischievous. He self-learned how to open the door, but he can't do it with a collar now. He "talks" in his sleep! Despite his age, he is full of energy and acts like a puppy.

After losing a husband and being diagnosed with terminal cancer four years ago, he became my emotional support, always next to me, ready to listen and "talk" back in his way.
