Bailey is a 2.5-year-old Beagle Mix in Ashburn, VA, who needs $900 for Dental & Mass Removal.

Bailey was rescued from Stray Rescue of STL in 2020 from a bad situation, but I (Peyton) am in graduate school full-time, so we recently moved to Virginia in August 2022. Our house included myself, partner Jordan, & other dog, Moe. We live in a small apartment in Northern VA. Bailey LOVES our neighborhood dog park. Bailey has had health problems since she was weeks old that we work on daily.

Bailey is a very special girl. When we brought her home at 10 weeks old, we knew right away that something was not right. We found out that she had bad food allergies & is on a special diet per the vet. Bailey is OBSESSED with me (Peyton) & loves her dad. She is a HUGE snuggler! Moe is one of her best friends & they play constantly. Bailey is people reactive & is under the care of a behaviorist.

Bailey is my "soul dog." We have an incredibly special bond because of how much work has gone into her reactivity training/management. She is such a brave girl & is so incredibly smart. Because of her severe food allergies & needing daily meds for her behavior issues, Bailey gets her meds in King's Hawaiian rolls. This bread is her fav thing. She knows "Bailey want bread?" & sprints to the kitchen

Because of her allergies, she can't have Greenies/dog toothpaste, etc. so her oral hygiene has been a challenge. She is ready for a dental & possible extraction. She also has a lump on the underside of her paw that is needing to be removed & tested to see what it is. They have tried oral meds/ointments & the lump is not going away. Franklin Farm Vets are saying it's time to do both procedures.

If I wasn't in grad school full-time, I would be working, but due to school, finances are tight. She is not our only dog needing care. Between school/her behaviorist/special food/meds, we are trying our best. I just want Bailey to be as healthy & happy as possible. That's it
