Bailey is a beautiful chocolate Labrador Retriever born 9/10/2018, and she came into our lives through a truly special gift. Through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and a generous breeder whom donated the puppy to my son Evan, who lives with multiple disabilities. We welcomed her to our family when she was eight weeks old, and Evan proudly chose her name.

Bailey was recently diagnosed with a Spindle Cell Tumor by her Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital in Tracy, California . The tumor on her leg needs to be surgically removed, although we have reduced some swelling it continues to grow . We were told that time is critical. If the tumor continues to grow , it may reach a point where surgery becomes more difficult or may no longer be an option.

From the beginning, Bailey formed an extraordinary bond with Evan and has been his loyal companion, source of comfort, emotional support and best friend ever since. Bailey has remained by Evan’s side through countless medical challenges. Bailey is an irreplaceable part of Evan’s life. This is why Baileys health crisis is so heartbreaking to our family, she truly has been there in Evans need.

Now it’s time to take care of Bailey, our family is doing everything we can, but we live on a very fixed income, and recent medical hardships our selfs. We need Bailey healthy and well so she can continue to be Evans life line, and best friend.
