Bailey is a 4-year-old Lab Dog in East Ridge, TN, who needs $870 for Heartworm Treatment.

Bailey was used for breeding and kept in a kennel for about 4 plus years. The unscrupulous breeder sold her to me last May. Her recent litter of puppies had died. No reason was given as to why. She was heartworm positive at the time according to my vet. I was not informed of her health issues. She is in excellent living conditions now. I’m 70 years old and on social security and disabled.

Bailey loves to play chase the ball. She has limited energy to run. Bailey is my soul mate. She sleeps with me as close as she can get. She is never out of my sight. She suffers from severe PTSD besides the heartworm. She is an 80 lb lap dog. She is terrified of any other humans. She is salvageable. The resident cats like her. After 4 years of mis-treatment and neglect she deserves a chance.

Her 100% acceptance of me is awesome. She does not have any problems with the vet and techs. Once her heartworm condition is remedied then we can work on her confidence building. Seeing her trying so hard to play and run breaks my heart. Bailey is 1 of a kind. She is well behaved and listens to me most of the time. Her happy place is in the back seat of my car going anywhere.

I am desperate to get the funds to get her heartworm treated. We belong to the East Ridge Animal Hospital in Tennessee. She has been heartworm positive for over a year. When she was purchased she had not had any preventative health care, none. She has a long way to go besides the heartworm treatment. Spaying, meds, etc. I will move mountains to get her help.
