Bailey was originally a rescue and was gifted to me by my father 6 years ago. My father recently passed away right before Christmas this year and I was left with no family, living alone other than with my sweet Bailey. She has been my angel and faithful companion through this hard time.

Bailey enjoys spending time cuddling next to me while we watch a Disney film usually with dogs involved. She loves sunbathing in the backyard while she rolls around on the grass as well. I live alone and was left with no family ever since my father recently passed away so it’s just me and Bailey keeping each other company.

Bailey is one of a kind because she is the kindest most gentle soul I know. She loves spreading her love anywhere we go and always steals the hearts of those who come in contact with her. Bailey is very vocal when she is happy so I love when she fills the home with her little howls and I will always join in since it’s hard to resist not to.

Bailey is not acting herself and has been under the weather for the past few days and has not showed any sign of improvement. I was able to rush her to Carolina Veterinary Specialists as my concerns for her health have grown. Once going to the emergency clinic, 30 minutes before the new year countdown they informed me that Bailey has pyometra and will need surgery for her to have a full recovery.

I recently quit my job to be able to spend the past few weeks in the hospital with my father before he passed a few days before Christmas. Bailey is all I have left and is now needing my help. I am not ready to lose another family member within a months span.
