I’ve had Bailey since she was 3 months old. She was headed to a puppy mill and a local store owner had her on the counter hoping someone would adopt her. Well that someone was me! I knew as soon as I saw her that she was coming home with me. She is a big dog but so loving. We live in a small one bed apartment but she loves it anyway.

A couple months ago I was on a walk with Bailey and realized she was bleeding after going poo. While cleaning her up I felt a small lump. Off to the vet we went. Found out she had a mass. MSU Veterinary Clinic has taken over and said the mass must be removed. She needs a CT scan to be sure this is the only mass. And to be sure her heart is in good condition.

Bailey is so special to me! She knows when my blood sugars are off and lets me know. She is terrified of noise so getting her properly trained was not an option. Every day she lets me know just how much she loves me and needs me as much as I need her. She loves people, not so much other animals though.

Due to my own medical conditions getting worse I am currently unable to work. Never did I expect this to be the case. I’m heartbroken over not being able to pay for Baileys surgery to make her better. My hope is that people will be able to help and Bailey will be ok again.
