Bailey is a 10-year-old Corgi/hound mix in Tampa, FL, who needs $1,110 for Surgical removal of 4 masses right neck and left thorax.

Bailey a hound/Corgi mix was rescued at 6 mo and we were his 3rd rescue home in his short life. He is now 10 - we call him our love hound as he loves to give kisses and is a very happy dog. My husband jokes that he gets him in the divorce (if there ever was one) as Bailey is a chick magnet at the dog park or when we are out. He has come to be very loved by us and our extended family .

Bailey sleeps on his back , often placing his head on our pillow and snuggling under the covers then retreating to the foot of the bed. Bailey shares our home with his big sister, Cleo and little sister Luna (also both rescues). He loves to swim and chase his pooch tube at the dog park. Bailey loves going on walks, the lawn sprinkler and swimming.

We are asking for help as myself and my husband have both lost our jobs due to COVID in March 2020 and have not received any unemployment assistance from the State of Florida.

Bailey has 4 masses on his neck and torso and he has been scheduled for surgery on 7/1/2020 at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay Animal Health Center. He has had a reverse cough, nasal mucus. Bailey has been under their care for treatment and we fear the masses are causing pressure on his throat and could be related to the cough.

Bailey is vocal when dinner time arrives and affectionately known as “Begging Bailey”. He loves to swim , to the point of the first time he went to the beach that we had to strip down to swim out and retrieve him as he was swimming for the horizon. He loves to play tug and chases his sisters. His favorite furry bear “Mr. Humps” as soon as he finishes eating he humps the bear :-)
