We adopted our dog, Baker, when my husband and I had just got married. We both came from families that have loved and cared for dogs and we saw it as a perfect way to start our family. He has been nothing short of amazing four years and two human baby sisters later!

Baker is very active and loves to spend time outside. My husband loves to throw the football or run with him. He came in from being outside one day with a limp. We took him to the vet and found out that he tore the human equivalent of an ACL and needs surgery to get better.

Baker is the biggest family dog. He never wants to be alone and always wants to be close to someone. That could be to cuddle, kiss, or just be in the presence of. He has two human baby sisters that he loves spending time outside with and licking and cuddling as much as he can.

We are on one strict income as my husband is active duty military. I stay home with my children and dog to care for them the best I can. We have no savings or extra money that could cover this sudden $4000 surgery.
