We reduced Baldr from a bad home situation when he was approximately 9 months old. He live with my husband and I and our 2 female dogs, Ali-gator 9 and Hera 2. All of our babies are rescues. We all live in Pensacola, Florida with a big yard that Baldr enjoys jumping. All he want to do is love his humans and ladies and be loved. Baldr gets his name from the Norse god, Baldr, the most handsome.

Baldr is our big baby. He acts tough and grumpy, but the minute he knows you’re a good person, he has to love you. Baldr hates confrontation and his defense mechanism is to lick you in the face. He and Hera act like an old married couple. They fight and wrestle, but can’t stand to be away from each other. If you are lucky enough to be one of his people he will protect you from all the squirrels.

Baldr has what we call a “stupid face.” It’s the face he gets when you are scratching that secret spot. His lips curl and head tilts sideways. He loves a massage gun. If someone turns it on, he will go right next to them and nudge them until he gets a massage. He will also prance and jump like a goat when he’s excited.

Baldr swallowed a circular cow bone and has to have surgery to get it removed. We have to come up with $3000.00 for the surgery. We are unable to be financed through care credit or any other animal crediting company. This is our “Hail Mary”

We are asking for help because we simply do not have the funds or resources for this life saving surgery. If we lose Baldr it would devastate not only our human family, but our 2 other dogs.
