Baloo is a 3-year-old Husky in Rogers, AR, who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal Surgery.

I came across Baloo almost a year ago wandering my neighborhood. He was extremely underweight and had definitely been beaten/neglected. When I took him in he was an angel, but extremely timid. In time he came out of his shell and settled into his new home.

Baloo spends his time hanging out with me and his brother, my Aussie, Gannon. Together they love going on adventures with me. He is loving and forces you to make him the center of any attention being given.

When I come home he does this weird little hoppy dance in circles that never ceases to make me smile. When I got him I never thought he would play fetch because he would flinch due to abuse. I’ll never forget the day he trusted me enough to play with me.

I take Baloo to Oak View Animal Clinic in Pea Ridge. I took him there because he hasn’t been holding down food for a couple weeks now and he has dropped weight insanely fast. He isn’t passing stool and I fear he is going to need surgery for some kind of blockage.

I lost my job in December and have since gotten another job. During the period between I had to burn through the bit of savings I had and I am still trying to bounce back. Because of this I can’t afford a surgery to save my boy.
