Bama is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Ashland, MO, who needs $1,000 for Xrays, Possibly Surgery, Prescription Food & Meds.

I was given Bama when he was six weeks old. He's been my baby ever since. 6 months after I got him I found out I had stage 4 breast cancer. Throughout my chemo & appts, Bama never left my side. He is my ESA fur baby. He sleeps with me and we just need each other. Hes had bladder stones before a couple yrs ago & almost died. I would do anything for him. I love my Bama fat boy.

Bama has had bladder stones in previous yrs. He almost died. It was the first time I knew he had a problem. I hate seeing him in pain. I want to cure the problem & hopefully prevent him from getting them again. He also has pica which scares me because he trys to eat chip wrappers & candy wrappers. I just watch him & make sure those things aren't lying around where he can get them.

He is my father boy. He talks to me. He loves to lay on my chest or other family members. He loves to rub his head on someone w a beard. He hates feet. He's big but so many people have stepped on him accidentally that he will yell at you if he feels you're too close to him. He loves the heater and will lay right in front of it like he's sunbathing . I've had him 6 yrs & is a member of the family.

I have several health issues which cost me to go to the dr frequently. I was fired from my job because of excessive doctor's appointments. I'm a cancer survivor w a brain aneurysm & other health issues. It took 4 months for me to get another job. I'm a single mom as well.
