Bandari is a 2-year-old Great Dane in Nacogdoches, TX, who needs $1,900 for Gastropexy to correct GDV and splenectomy and hospitalization.

He was a gift from a friend who knows us at 10 weeks old. I have 3 other Danes other than him and 4 smaller mixed dogs that were also rescued or given to us. He is still in training and learning the ropes on how to be a gentle giant to the cats and other dogs in the home. We keep them on a schedule & feed them elevated also fixed at 18 months like recommended.

We keep them on a tight schedule and wait 3 hrs after fed.. 6am potty and feeding,12 pm to 1pm potty breaks 5 pm pitty and feed 9 to 12 am potty breaks and bed down. He is still a pup so sleeps in a xxl kennel with blankets. Always an inside dog, loves to play with all toys and siblings, just a 254 lbs love bug, always happy and wagging his tail. Friendly to all and even chickens.

We have a small 2 person Construction company and were doing good we had a crew then covid & now we are back to just my husband and I and now I have to have a minor surgery 8/24/21 so I also can not work now and it's been hard to get work .

Fed him at 3 to 4 pm off schedule but kennel him and left came back a around 9pm and let him out and seen he was bloated and not acting like him self rushed him to hospital and was told wld be a 2500 to 3000 surgery unless his spleen is taken out them it would be more but at the moment we had half so do it but now it is 4000 to much for us

He lets you know if u slept in too late or off his schedule and is very vocal to let anyone know it's his potty. Time or food time. He plays with any toy and doesn't mind sharing or what toy he will play with all.
