During the covid pandemic my husband and I were looking for a friend for our sweet pit mix Jackson. We came across a friend of a friend who was selling these mix puppies for $60 and when we saw the post we just could not say no. So a 20 minute drive and $60 later, we brought Bandit home. Bandit was every piece of what we never knew we were missing. Bandit is the best big brother to our son Myles.

Last Wednesday bandit started showing signs of not wanting to eat, and he started throwing up. We rushed him to the village vet clinic in Hamburg, New York and he was shown to have an obstruction in his gastrointestinal tract. Bandit had to have surgery that cost over $5000 for everything. Fast-forward to today, September 22 After being released home yesterday, bandit is back at the vet hospital

Bandit is the sweetest boy. He loves our son and daughter and sometimes I think he thinks he’s human. Bandit is nothing short of extraordinary And is worth his weight in gold.

This expense was totally unexpected. We are currently living on a fixed income and it’s just a very hard season of life for us right now between two kids and changing living prices. We never expected to be put in this situation.
