About this campaign
Bandit is our lovable and spirited companion who has been a cherished member of our family since the spring of 2021. We initially welcomed Bandit into our home as a foster, but it didn't take long for us to realize that he was here to stay. Bandit, at one and a half years old, was initially timid in his new environment, but he quickly warmed up to us, becoming a foster fail.
Bandit has brought immense joy and laughter to our household. His favorite pastime is playing soccer, where he excels as a goalie, making it nearly impossible to score against him. Our days are filled with laughter as Bandit engages in lively games of fetch, explores new parks, and joins us on hiking adventures. His boundless energy and affectionate nature have made him an integral family member.
What makes Bandit truly special is his affectionate nature. He is protective of his people and wants to be with them at all times. Bandit never fails to bring a smile to our faces. His vibrant personality has enriched our lives in countless ways, making every moment spent with him a cherished memory.
In the spring of 2023, after several visits to the vet, we discovered that Bandit had minor tears in both of his cruciate ligaments. Bandit underwent TPLO surgery on his right leg at Partridge Animal Hospital under the care of Dr. David A. Landers. While Bandit's right leg is healing well, he now faces the need for surgery on his left leg.
Unfortunately, our current financial situation poses a significant challenge, as we've already paid out of pocket for the initial surgery and diagnostic expenses, totaling over $7,000. The second surgery is crucial for Bandit's full recovery and ability to lead a happy life.
