About this campaign
A friend brought me Bandit in December of 2017 to help ease my suffering from the loss of my Husband to cancer, Pitbull to cancer, and Yorkie to CHF. Bandit was 12 weeks old when I got him, and he was/is the joy of my life, I do not know what I would do without him. I am a disabled widow; my husband was a veteran. I am a student at Purdue Global University.
Bandit loves to play with his squeaky stuffed animals and his little brother, Smokey. Smokey is a mini Yorkie with a large personality. Bandit is a lover who enjoys playing with children and sleeping beside me. Car rides are another favorite event for him and smiling!
I feel as if he has saved my life in many ways. For example; When I had Covid-19, I was living alone in a new town where I did not know anyone or have any family. My fever was high enough, that I could not get out of bed, and I had gotten delusional. Bandit licked me until he broke my fever. Anytime I am sick or sad, he takes care of me.
He was diagnosed with an abscessed canine tooth. This will require a Pre-Op for $53, Surgery for $700 - $900 depending on complexity. Medication to follow may require more. He has no other medical concerns currently. Rayford Animal Wellness Clinic is where we would like to take him. I applied for CareCredit and was denied.
In September I moved to get away from a financially stable but very toxic relationship. I am on a fixed income, and I do not have enough to cover the vet bill alone. I am so afraid of infection killing him and it breaks my heart and soul to see my baby, my savior, in pain.
