Bane is a 8 year old American Shorthair in Burnsville, MN, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal Surgery for Foreign Object Extraction.

In May of 2018, we found our sweet boy listed for ownership on Craigslist. The plan was to only adopt 1 kitten, but we didn’t have the heart to leave behind his sister who was also the runt of the litter. They have literally never been apart.
His father chose his name, Bane, as an homage to a name referenced within his favorite Sci-Fi universe, Star Wars, (Darth Bane).

It is highly likely our little man has ingested a foreign linear object (string, hair, etc…) that has become lodged within his lower intestine. The only option to treat this is explorative surgery. Bane has been admitted to Mission hospital of Eden Prairie, MN. where he is being carefully monitored receive emergency surgery. At this moment, there is no estimate on how long his stay will be.

He is the sweetest and silliest boy any cat parent could ever hope to have. He immediately wins the hearts of anyone who comes into contact with him. He is always eager to greet whomever enters our home. He loves to play fetch with his favorite “mousie”, cuddling his daddy on the couch while watching sports, as well as cuddling both of his sisters (1 feline, 1 canine), and he loves to be outside.

Most emergency veterinarians require a payment up-front prior to any services. In this case we would need at least $3500 to have him admitted to save his life. Neither me nor my husband qualify for CareCredit and we are of small families that are also financially struggling.
