About this campaign
I rescued Barkley when he was 4 to surprise my deployed husband! We now have 2 kids and Barkley and he is the sweetest big brother to them. He enjoys their pets and snuggles and running around outside.
Barkley has cataracts in his eyes and has gone blind. He mostly has to stay in the house or on a lease now which is a big change for him. He loves running around outside and being with his human brother and sister. He has a hard time with stairs which makes traveling hard for him and since he is in an Air Force family this has been tricky. This surgery would give him his spunk back!
Barkley is a snuggler! He loves cuddles and treats and being in the great outdoors. He doesn’t have an aggressive or mean bone in his body and I hope this surgery will allow him to travel more with us like he used to! He has a hard time navigating air bnb’s, new houses, and hotels.
We cannot afford to give our dog this expensive surgery but it would mean the world to us and our children to have him back to his old self and able to play like he used to!
