Barnabas is a 7-year-old Boston Terrier in New Florence, MO, who needs $900 for Thyroid Carcinoma Removal.

After losing my Boston/Chi that I had for 14 yrs from Congestive Heart Failure unexpectedly.
I really wanted a full blooded Boston Terrier so I searched until I found a Breeder and she only had one left so we drove like 2 or 3 hours and picked up my Baby.
His name comes from the movie Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp where his name was Barnabas Collins.
I really like the movie and I liked the name.

Barnabas has been with us for 7 years and is my 4 legged child and my son calls him/ his brother from another mother.
He is spoiled rotten gets treats every morning and sleeps in bed with us.
He likes to go for walks and play with his toys.

Barnabas loves just about everyone he meets he is very social.
He loves our neighbor also.
He likes his ball and rope most of his toys.
When you scratch his back by his tail he licks the air continuously and doesn't want you to stop.
He likes to eat corn in the cob also it funny.

Barnabas has been healthy the whole time I have had him until the end of February when his snorting from having a flatter face seemed to sound different and more frequent so I took him to the vet while examining him the vet found a knot in his throat so they took him in the back to see if they could poke it with a needle and was able to pull some fluid and it came back Thyroid Carcinoma.

I am on a fixed income due to being on SSI and live check to check so no saved money.
I pay my regular vet bills but never expected anything like this to occur.
Barnabas has saved my life many of times when going through hard times.
I'm just not ready to lose him yet.
