Barton is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Pompano Beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral Kidney Hydronephrosis.

Barton is a rescue cat that has been part of our family for 12 years. He was born outdoors and as a kitten had a rough start. Through constant nurturing and love. He has grown into the most affectionate and brightly spirited fur baby a family could ever wish for. At the time, my family was going through a lot of turmoil and uncertainty especially my Son. Barton saved him, he saved all of us.

Unfortunately, Barton has been diagnosed with Bilateral Kidney Hydronephrosis and requires a operation called a Subcutaneous Ureteral Bypass to save his life. This operation cost between $12,000-$15,000 and will be done at the Palm Beach VCA

Barton has two other brothers who adore him named Bernie and Biscuit. Since Barton has become sick they both have been depressed because I have to keep them separated as Barton requires constant medical attention and is on heavy pain medications. As a family we are trying to spend as much time as possible with him to comfort and love him.

To get Barton diagnosed and to this point it has cost $6k. He has had several Uktrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, urinalysis and medications have been costly. It would mean the world to me and my family to see Barton well and happy again like a gift from God!!!
