Baxter is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Amherst, NY, who needs $1,500 for Abdomen and Thorax Radiograph Study with Sedation.

Baxter came into my life about 9 years ago when my daughter seen him sitting in a cage at our local Pet Supplies Plus store. He was a stray that nobody wanted due to the fact he was already 1 1/2 yrs old. I went to the store to see him and I loved him immediately. He came home to live with us forever the very next day. He is loved by everyone who meets him.

Baxter has stopped eating and drinking and has started losing weight. We took him to the vet for an exam and bloodwork. He now has to go back into the vet for an exam reassessment, an abdomen & thorax radiograph study with sedation and hospital stay. This will end up with a surgery to remove whatever is blocking him from eating and drinking. He throws up non stop.

Baxter was one of three cats that lived in our household. His best bud Bailey, who was also adopted lost his life due to cancer last year. He has another brother named Benny whom he loves playing hide & seek with. He loves his toys and bats them all over the apartment. He loves to talk and will answer your questions with his many meows. He sleeps with me every night preferably on the pillow.

It will mean everything to me to have my beloved Baxter healthy and happy once again. I am currently out on Disability and unfortunately cannot cover the full cost of his veterinary care plan. I need him and cannot lose him. 😢😭
