Baxter came into my life as, I guess you can say, a gift. We are Baxter's third home. He was a gift to a couple in Virginia. They decided they weren't dog people and put him up for adoption. He was adopted by some dear friends of our's. After several weeks, and an ongoing stress of a growing business, they found they could not give Baxter the attention he needed.

He receives continuous huge amounts of love! We are so in love with him and feel blessed that we were chosen to be his final and forever home. He gives us so much love and joy it's overwhelming! He loves to play and is so active. It makes me sad to think about his diagnosis at the vet today. He has pancreatitis. It is a severe condition which can be deadly.

Absolutely! He does so many new funny things every day! We have never smiled so much in our lives as we have since we adopted him. He is mischievous and quick! Hard to keep up with at times but we love it. We love him. Our hearts are filled with love and joy for him. He gives us new meaning to life.

He was diagnosed today, 06/15/2022 with pancreatitis. I am at a loss for words. In fear of losing him. I think at times, what if I were to lose him? How terrifying. He is currently being treated at Neffsville Veterinary Clinic.

My husband's income was our main source of income. He is unable to work because of having Open Heart Surgery for an aortic valve replacement. Due to this,, he will be unable to do the work he was doing prior to his surgery. He is not getting paid while out of work.
