I adopted my handsome boy after seeing his picture on Facebook when I immediately fell head over heels in love! It was absolutely love at first sight.

I was alarmed when I noticed a rather large lump on his eyelid several weeks ago. Of course I took him to his Veterinarian where he was diagnosed with a Meibomian gland adenoma. Initially, they may start out as a small, smooth mass that sticks out of the opening of a Meibomian gland. Once removed it may need a biopsy.

Baxter is a sweet dog and is very attached to me, his sister, Abby, his brother Charlie and his kitty friend, Kiki. He is very sensitive and doesn't like thunderstorms, fireworks, mowers or any loud noises. He spends his time being my shadow, playing with his siblings and his toys and begging for treats.

When I adopted my pets, it was myself and my husband. However, my husband passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago, leaving me to look after our pets alone. I am on a fixed and limited income and it would mean the world to me to be able to take care of Baxter's medical needs.
