I 1st fostered Bean for a few months when he was 4 months old: he was rescued in the suburbs of Tennessee after being hit by a car & needing surgery on a leg: I cared for him: taught him how to do stairs( I live on a 2nd floor) and helped him not only in recovering fully from the surgery but also recovering from being traumatized with running car noises: I had to bring snacks on our walks . Once the adoption prospects started floodding in I decided to become his Adoptive mom.
