About this campaign
Hello, my name is Betty. I was introduced to this beautiful kitten on Feb. 14, 2020. Her and 3 other siblings were born on Valentines Day but for reasons unknown she is the only survivor of mama's first litter. I watched her from a distance until she was old enough to leave her mother. I contemplated back and forth whether I could afford to have a cat in my situation but it was too late,
BEAN was coming to live with me. I recently moved to a senior living facility where I have a one bedroom apartment and I live alone. The Corona virus scare was peaking and I was feeling very alone in my new surroundings. I brought BEAN home in April. It was very comforting to have a kitten in the house.
I was aware of this when I decided to give BEAN a home. I have honestly tried to put aside a BEAN FUND to pay for these procedures but I live on a very fixed low-income it just hasn't been possible. I need help or I will have to some how let BEAN go. Can you help? Please.
BEAN is a healthy 6 month old female. I introduced her to the Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital where her doctor, Dr. Holly Neuberger has given her all her necessary shots for her age up to this point. BEAN is now old enough to be spayed and also have her front claws declawed. Both these procedures are required conditions for me to be allowed to keep BEAN here where I live.
What a joy she is ! My home feels like it has a purpose again and I have someone to talk to and share special moments with.. I dont know what I would do without BEAN now. BEAN has adapted well. She is a jumper, she jumps from the chair to the table and around the room. Nothing gets by BEAN, never have I seen a cat as curious and fearless to anyone or anything I bring in the house.
