Beans is a 9 month old American Shorthair in Caribou, ME, who needs $2,000 for Intestinal Blockage Surgery.

We adopted Beans 6 months ago for our son. She is our son’s kitty and very special to both us and our dog. Our son is 13 months old. She is not yet spayed and lives with us, our dog, and 3 other cats.

Beans has an intestinal blockage from swallowing something hard. The vet, Hothams Vet Services in Presque Isle ME charges $4000 for this surgery. Our family can’t afford this and she would have to be euthanized as she will not survive this.

Beans is spunky, always getting into trouble. She is also sweet, loves to cuddle our dog and our son. She is always trying to play with everyone and everything, normal kitten behavior. She is beloved to our son who is 13 months.

My husband is in the hospital, unemployed because of this, and I am a stay at home mom. We do not have the money to save our son’s cat and really need support. We have to give our decision to our vet tomorrow.
