Bear is a 6-year-old Border Collie in Conneaut Lake, PA, who needs $2,000 for Hip Replacement.

Six years ago I lost my dog Coco. To fill a void I saw an ad in the paper for border collies. I went and looked, and Bear and I clicked and became very close. Bear lives with two other dogs that try to play with him all the time, but they cannot. Bear is always in pain. The medication is not working as good as it use to.

Bear likes to play fetch with bones, balls and sticks. Bear enjoys being held and just spending time with his family. Bear likes to dig holes when he is outside. Bear enjoys anything with water. Bear cannot take long walks.

Bear loves the sprinkler and water hose. Bear enjoys playing outside with two other dogs that
we have. Bear is protective of his family. Bear enjoys walks and csr rides.

Beat was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when he was nine months old. He has been on pain management with medication. Bear is now a candidate for hip replacement at Bleu Pearl specialty hospital in Pittsburgh. Bear struggles with pain and limps alot now. Bear is no longer running and playing with the other dogs. He is laying around alot. And limps alot due to his hip being out alot.

This is an unexpected big expense. It would mean the world to me if I can get this surgery for Bear. I would really appreciate the help. I want him to be able to go on walks with us and the other dogs. I do not have the funds to do this.
