About this campaign
ear is a rescue I adopted last year, and he has been a blessing from day one. He lives happily with his three fur siblings and quickly found his place in our family. He came with the name Baby Bear, and it truly fits him — sweet, strong, and full of heart. He may be small, but his spirit is mighty and his love is endless.
Bear has recently been diagnosed with IVDD, and our world turned upside down. A ruptured disc has caused acute paralysis, and he now requires surgery to help him walk again. This sweet boy, who has already overcome so much as a rescue, is facing the biggest fight of his life. We are doing everything we can to give him the chance to stand, walk, and run again.
Bear was absolutely the happiest boy. He has zero aggression and loved to play with every dog he meets and every toy he can find. His joyful spirit is contagious. He has the best smile — the kind that instantly lights up your day and makes everything feel a little brighter just by being near him.
Bear’s surgery to hopefully regain movement in his legs is $13,000. The specialists have given him a 90% chance of recovery — but there are no guarantees. Without insurance, this cost is virtually impossible for us to afford alone. We are holding onto hope
