Bear is a German Shepherd puppy in Peterstown, WV, who needs $500 for Parvo Treatment.

Bear came into our lives about a month ago, he is such a sweet boy. We adopted him from a local girl that breeds German Shepherds. She was very nice but did not let us know she was not getting them vaccinated until after we were picking him up. He is such a sweetheart and is currently battling parvo.

Bear loves to run around in the yard, cuddle with anyone and everyone and he is even learning to play fetch. We all love this sweet boy so much and love watching him change and grow everyday. My son and all the children he has ever meet love him to death. He gets along great with my other dogs, Zena and Daisy.

I feel Bear is a very special dog because he had already beaten the odds of parvo thus far. The vet is very optimistic that he will make a full recovery. He also loves to pull on your hair in the mornings as a personal wake up call for anyone he wants attention from. Please help us save him, he is worth saving.

Currently he is in Lewisburg Animal Hospital battling Parvo. He become very ill on Thanksgiving 2021 and by Saturday we took him to the Vet hospital in Christainsburg where he was diagnosed. On Sunday morning we took him to Lewisburg Animal Hospital because it was a little bit more affordable but we still need help!

I applied for care credit and was able to get approved but only for $600. I am a nurse that is also a single mother that lives paycheck to paycheck but will do anything I can for our fur baby!
