Beau is a 6-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Hampton, GA, who needs $2,000 for Ear Polyp Removal.

Beau aka "Big Fella" was formally my mother's dog. Mom moved to a senior facility that wouldn't allow pets. I was eager to take him as a member of my household so he could be a big brother to Bella. He always gave me a huge smile when he saw me! Mom would playfully call him a traitor because he never listened to her but did everything I asked him to do. LOL!

We're a family of 4. Me, dad, Bella & Beau! Bella is our rambunctious wild child while Beau is laid back and relaxed. He observes before he makes a move. Because Beau was with my mom for the first 4 years of his life, he didn't have much activity. He didn't know how to run, play, walk on a leash or just be a typical dog. Maybe that's standard for a dog with a senior parent?

Within about a month of being with us, he learned a lot. He can almost outrun Bella now! He hightails it after the tennis ball...hadn't quite learned to bring it back to me yet tho. Overall, he's a spoiled house dog who loves to lay and sleep UNDER anything...beds, tables, chairs & his kennel. He finds comfort sheltered in his own way! No head rubs, only butt rubs for him!

Over the past couple of years, Beau has had numerous ear infections. His previous vet cont'd to give him an antibiotics and ear drops. In July of this year he was finally diagnosed with an ear polyp and an apology for not seeing it sooner. In October the polyp started growing at an alarming rate and now he's in pain. I contacted St Francis Vet Specialists for help!

Beau is the best fur baby that anyone could ask for! He's so small and in so much pain. We all feel helpless because we can't ease his pain. I'm praying that St. Francis Vet Specialists can save our baby! He's a wonderful baby and big brother.
