Beau is a 2-year-old Lab in Milford who needs $1,800 for Viral Infection, Possibly Parvo.

Someone posted on Facebook they had a litter of 5 week old puppies and mom had been sold. We felt horrible and had room in our life so we went and picked up our baby boy, bottle feed him and got him healthy. He’s now two but very sick. He has a virus and my husband will be beyond devastated if he can’t make Beau well again.

Beau is two years old and is the companion of my husband who is a 100% disabled combat veteran they the Army. Beau is by his side 24/7 and helps his my husbands PTSD and anxiety at bay. Beau has a sister who is a 6yr old French Bulldog. They are best friends. They are apart of our family and we can’t imagine life without them.

Beau lots his squeaky toys. He makes them squeak and then sings and howls along with them. He sleeps in our bed, up between us with a pillow and blanket of his own, as if he thinks he’s a people. He also likes to chase and attempt to catch flies. And he always sleeps with and snuggles his favorite stuffy.

Beau got into something that has caused uncontrollable diarrhea, vomiting, and lethargy. He won’t eat and moves very slowly. Doc thinks he may have a virus and needs IV fluids. Which can cost upwards of $2000. On a fixed income, we just don’t have it all at once. And the vet does not take payments.

My husband struggled a lot when he came back from his third deployment to Iraq. He couldn’t really connect with a anyone. He was retired as a 100% disability due to a bomb explosion. His dog is what comforts him when the bad memories/dreams become an issue.
