Bebe is a 9-year-old Chihuahua in Minneapolis, MN, who needs $698 for medication trial and a lung biopsy.

It was during the winter months of 2012, when Bebe came into our lives. He was just a puppy when a family friend asked us to take him in, since his owners at the current moment were not responsible and could no longer take care of him. Now at the age of nine, Bebe has became a big part of our family and our hearts.

At home Bebe is truly the baby of the house, which is why his name is baby in Spanish. He loves being surrounded by us 24/7, even if it's just going to the grocery store or running errands Bebe is the first one to hop in the car. When it comes to family pictures Bebe knows he's got to be the center of attention, the love our family has for him has no words!

Due to COVID finances have been extremely hard on us, to the point that we had to apply for rent assistance and food support. I currently suffer from depression since 2011 and ever since Bebe came into my life he gave me hope.. he gave me a reason to get up in the morning.

We are currently receiving treatment from Mission Hospital in Minnesota. He was diagnosed with some kind of free fluid surrounding his lungs, which if not treated could be life threatening. Due to our financial crisis we had to agree on a medication trial and error, but our best option is a lung biopsy to get straight to the source of the problem, which is really expensive according to our vet.

Bebe is an extremely loving and friendly dog, he makes everyone he meets fall in love with him, he is my my sweet boy! What's unique of Bebe is that everyone in the community knows him, for loving to run outside and play all day long and even meeting up to play with other community dogs. What makes me love Bebe even more is that he is always down to cuddle and take a power nap.
