Becky’s body bears the marks of this prolonged neglect. Her fur is infested with fleas, her toenails painfully overgrown, and her fragile frame is underweight, a testament to years of suffering. Her movements are stiff and labored from the confinement, and it’s clear that the years of isolation have taken their toll.
