Bella is a 7-year-old Labrador Retriever who needs $2,000 for TPLO surgery.

Bella is 7 yrs old and has been part of the family since she was 8 wks old. She is a blessing to me and my children. She was our protector in a bad living environment till we could get out safely and start over. She is an emotional support animal for myself, my kids who suffer from anxiety and depression. She knows when something is wrong and how to calm you and make you fell safe and loved.

Bella wants to be around you at all times. She sleeps in my bed or with one of the kids. She loves swimming if there is water she is in it, shes love to play fetch but only with a tennis ball. She plays chase and tug a war with Oakley as much as possible. She is always happy and seems to smile. Unfortunately being hurt has made most of these things impossible for her to enjoy lately.

Bella’s best friend and adopted brother is Oakley. They have a special bond. They play and love each other but Bella is he rock. He suffers from separation anxiety. When she isn’t around he has panic attacks. He cries uncontrollably, paces and pants till she returns. Bella love everyone she doesn’t know a stranger. Her favorite chew is an elk antler, she love to speak when you talk to her.

Bella injured her leg in the last snow storm slipping on her way outside. After 6 weeks of medicine , she is still in pain and can’t put weight on her back leg. The next step was X-rays, where Dr. Lyle found out she has a torn CCL and requires surgery to fix. The surgery will cost 3500.00 plus aftercare at Crest Animal Hospital.

I am a single mom with two kids who already struggles financially. It breaks my heart that I don’t have the funds to give Bella the relief she needs and deserves. She has always been there when we needed her most and I am desperately trying to do the same for her.
