Bella is a 9 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Chattanooga, TN, who needs $1,500 for Cystotomy.

Bella and her brother Niko blessed my life 9 years ago. My parents were their original owners, and I took over their care 6 years ago. They needed a quiet home to grow and be loved, and I could provide that for them. I never had pets as an adult until this point, but I had a lot as a child. I never expected to feel this overwhelming love for my fur babies but I can't imagine my life without them.

Bella has bladder stones that were discovered on an xray in April. Despite changing her diet, the stones have not dissolved so they are suspected to be calcium oxalate stones that will need to be surgically removed. She is not an emergency case at this point, but I know this can be and do not want that to happen. She is being seen at Vetopia Animal Health in Hixson, TN.

Bella has so much personality and keeps me laughing! She stomps her feet if I am taking too long for her. Her favorite spot to lay is on her pillow at the front door or the end of the couch (pictures included) and watch the neighborhood and protect our home. She likes her own space when it comes to sleep and has her own bed.

Her brother Niko is diabetic and has health issues that go along with it. It is expensive for his care, but he is stable! I was so close to losing Niko when he was first diagnosed, I can't go through that with Bella. I want to stay a family of 3.
