Bella is a 8-year-old Terrier Mix in Chesapeake , VA, who needs $1,100 for Surgical Tumor Removal.

I got Bella when she was 8 weeks old back in 2013. She has been my pride and joy! I’m so sad because when we took her to the vet to get her ear drained 1
month ago, we also had them check the growth on her leg. To remove this tumor the starting cost if $1200. Because we had to get my daughter to college and pay for a lot for her and we were unable to get that amount saved up.

We are raising our 2 grandchildren age 6 and 2 and they love Bella so much. Bella loves playing fetch. We throw the ball she runs runs runs and gets it, brings it back and we start all over again. She is by my side always and even shakes her head “no” when the answer is no. The other animals love her also. She cracked a nail on that same leg and has not been able to run for 2 days now.

Bella is so fascinated with balls or the kids toys. She loves life and even try’s to catch the frisbee. Sometimes she will just play with herself by throwing the ball up in the air herself to catch it. She loves smiling at me when I get home from work as well as sitting on my lap. She immediately picked her ball up for me to throw it!

She has been healthy except for the ear that filled with blood from her daughter nipping her ear. This all started 2 days ago when she got her nail caught in the metal crease of our door and her nail bled. However because of the tumor putting weight on that leg I feel that the size of it may have contributed to her getting her nail caught or injuring her foot.

We have struggled for months now because of Covid and then finally got caught up on our bills. We then had more out of pocket expenses that we did not know about for my daughter to attend college, along with car troubles and buying our 1st grader school clothes and supplies.
