In 2009 my 14 year old German Shepherd lost all function in his back half of his body so I had to give him to heaven and his name was Bear but I called him Bubbabear and knew I would have another dog so one day like within a week my husband (now ex) and I were at the flea market and we seen this scared, shy little girl in a cage that no one was looking at cause she was an older puppy so we bought her and after Bear and twightlight being popular at the time we named her Bella and my other dog Bubba. From day one she sleeps on you somehow or if not sleeping she still has to lay as close as she can on me. Over the years she has gotten lots of life time issues from chronic ear infections, staph infection, hip dysplasia, cherry eye, that I got surgery for one but other one is starting to turn now so she will need another eye surgery but from Valentine’s Day for life she now has been diagnosed with left side enlarged heart and heart disease that makes her heart beat super fast if not on 3 kinds for meds to stable it. I thought when the vet first told me that her heart will not stable if the try to take her off the iv meds I was going to have to lose her and my daughter started crying with me so I said try everything and after two days they were able to get her on meds and able to come home. However, there is nothing more that can be done so now up to the meds and god.
