Bella is a 9-year-old French Bulldog in LaCygne, KS, who needs $1,300 for Cruciate Ligament Repair.

In 2012, I lost my husband of 35 years to lung cancer. Two weeks later, lost his mother in a car wreck. I was left to care for my step father-in-law with Alzheimers and our visually impaired son. My step FIL died 6 months later. In 2013, I lost our son to Sepsis. I was devastated. A friend of mine had a frenchie. I fell in love with this breed!

I found Bella through a breeder who was a nurse. I got her the minute I saw her! 6 weeks old and just adorable! She quickly became my very best friend and helped me through so much grief. I can't imagine my life without her. She hobbles around and is being so brave but I know she's in pain. A mama knows! It breaks my heart to see her this way and know I can't fix it.

Since getting her, I've rescued 2 cats and another Heiz 57 dog. Bella is the boss and even taught the cat to use the dog door! Bella is now 9 years old and healthy except for this recent incident. Frenchies are so loving and are just little clowns! She keeps me laughing! Bella is my bed partner too!

She was on the deck being her usual goofy, zoomy self and did something to her left leg. for a week she would not put weight on it. I took her to Linn County Verteranary Care in Centerville KS. He said she has torn her ACL!
A $1400 surgery. I feed all my animals Iams dog food and keep up on their shots.

I'm now on a fixed income and can barely get myself food. I still keep them on Iams though. There is no way i can afford this surgery and am just heartbroken. The doctor won't do payments. Please can you help me with this? PLEASE. Thank you.
