About this campaign

I was given Bella, a beautiful maltipoo, when my first fur baby, Octaviah, a beautiful Maltese, passed away in 2012. She quickly became a sister to our other fur baby Monstah Joe, a beautiful cocker spaniel and gave our family such joy and helped us in grieving.

She became very ill, vomiting with diarrhea which led to her blood pressure to be extremely low. I took her to Veterinary Emergency Group and was diagnosed with a kidney injury and possible leptospirosis, (the test results haven’t come in). We were told we would have lost her if we didn’t bring her in from her pressure being so low.

My Monstah Joe passed in 2022 and she helped me immensely with grieving him as she did with Octaviah. This time even more. She became my shadow, my therapy, my everything. Always staring at me and following me around showing me so much love. She’s my best friend, my companion. She brings so many smiles to myself and mom mother who she sleeps with.

I am currently on disability, I paid off the 4k vet bill with credit. Bella needs visits for blood work and check ups. She’s very weak, she’s not my same little girl and it’s heartbreaking. Life will never be the same, I’m devastated and will be so lost without her
