About this campaign
In April 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, I was devastated. I found a beagle mix that was 4 months old at an animal shelter. I brought her home and she became my family, my support as I continue to fight stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I named her, Bella which means beautiful in Italian.
Bella is an amazing puppy, only 1 year old, she is beautiful, house train and so loving. She always snuggles with me and gives me unconditional love. She loves and shows her love my family, friends and neighbors who visit often. I cannot image my life without Bella. She helps me during my cancer treatments by being there for me.
Bella is special to me, she is always snuggling with me, giving me her unconditional love that I need more now than ever. She always puts a smile on my face and loves me no matter what. Bella is an emotional support for me during my cancer treatments. Even though she is only 1 year old, she is very well manner and loving, she is special to me more than I can put into words.
Unfortunately, while Bella was playing with my mother’s Chihuahua, Rascal. I took Bella to the Veterinarian which Doctor Riddle at the Colonial Heights Veterinary Hospital located at 3666 Boulevard Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The Vet told me after a couple X-rays that Bella tore her ACL and needed surgery to repair it.
Dr. Riddle explain that the financial cost would be $2,500 -$2,700 for the surgery to repair the ACL which is necessary for the Bella. Unfortunately, I have over whelming medical bills for my cancer treatment.
