Bella came into our lives because my son insisted on bringing home one of the neighborhood puppies. With her tiny white body and blue eyes, we instantly loved her. Seven years later, she adores Cairo and Aziza like her babies, and her name—chosen from a hat—was fate, just like her mother’s.
In November, Bella started limping and putting no weight on her front right leg. After a vet visit, we were heartbroken to learn she had bone cancer, thought to be osteosarcoma, giving her only weeks to live. We chose pain management and let her guide us. By March, she was still herself, and a second opinion at morning side animal hosp revealed a less aggressive cancer, with amputation recommended
Bella is the absolute sweetest dog and truly the heart of our home. She adores her siblings, Cairo and Aziza, and while she loves adventurous mornings outside and zoomies through the house, she also steps in as the big sister to stop any roughhousing.
